Joshua Robinson was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance after hitting two pedestrians while driving under the influence. The incident took place on Old Shell Road near Ryan Avenue, where Mobile police officers discovered that Robison’s vehicle had left the roadway and collided with two pedestrians who were changing a tire on the side of the road. Robison was arrested immediately as he appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He is currently in police custody and his bond is pending.
As responsible drivers, we must always prioritize the safety of pedestrians and ensure that we never hit them. It is our duty to operate vehicles with complete sobriety and avoid driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as it poses a significant risk not only to ourselves but also to others on the road.
